Former bank employee charged with theft



GREENCASTLE, Pa. -- A Waynesboro, Pa., woman who worked at F&M Trust bank at 518 N. Antrim Way has been charged with theft in connection with irregularities in cash reserves at the bank, according to the Greencastle Police Department.

Brandy Snider, 23, was charged after an audit and it appears that $8,800 was stolen, police said. It appears the money was stolen over a month's time, police said.

Snider was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Duane Cunningham and released on $10,000 bond, police said.

More than $1,300 in painting supplies stolen



MERCERSBURG, Pa. -- More than $1,300 worth of painting supplies was stolen from a storage area at James Buchanan High School, the Mercersburg Police Department said in news release Wednesday.

The supplies were stolen between April 17 and May 13, the release said.

The supplies were reported stolen by Valley Wide Painting LLC in Allentown, Pa., which uses a storage area at the high school, the release said.
