Missionary Day
The Lucy P. Jones Missionary Society of Ebenezer AME Church held its Missionary Day on May 23 at the morning worship service.
Missionary President Toni Gaines presided over the morning worship. The guest speaker was Elder Maxine Blake of Greater Campher Temple Church. Her morning message was from Matthew 25:31-46, "We Can't Lose with the Stuff We Use."
Blake brought members of her congregation with her for the service, including Elder Darlene Cooper, who sang the solo, "If I Can Help Somebody," and Elder Tracy Brown, who led an encouraging morning prayer.
Lucy P. Jones was recognized for her years as president of Ebenezer's Missionary Society and for her lifelong missionary work. Ms. Lucy has blessed many lives with her devotion and love for people.
Cake and punch were served after the service.
