Several high school students from Broadfording Christian Academy spent their spring break in March ministering in La Carpio, a barrio of San Jose, Costa Rica.

The group participated in the "Abraham Project," which included the building and repairing of a facility that housed orphans.

The group of BCA students donated bags of toys, sheets, towels and craft items for the children.

They also hosted a Vacation Bible school and presented the gospel message through the wordless Bible.

In addition to the work done at the orphanage, the mission team also performed construction work at a church in La Carpio.

The BCA students mixed concrete by hand, carried rebar and chiseled concrete floors.
