Regional artists display work at juried exhibition

The 78th annual Cumberland Valley Artists Exhibition at the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts will be on view Saturday, June 5, through Sept. 26, in the museum's Groh Gallery.

This popular juried exhibition showcases the artists of the region. A total of 138 works of art were submitted for consideration; 43 works of art were accepted, consisting of 33 two dimensional pieces and 10 sculptural works.

An opening reception and awards ceremony will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 13, and is open and free to the public. Award winners will be recognized and receive their awards and a reception will be hosted by the museum's Singer Society. Works of art in the exhibition are available for purchase through the Museum Shop.
