Chambersburg man cited after he crashes vehicle into well

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A Chambersburg man was cited after the 2002 Chevrolet Tracker he was operating went off the road on Stanley Avenue Monday, struck a rock and a wooden well in a yard and left the scene, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Ronald L. Keefer, 38, was cited with leaving the scene of a crash, driving too fast for conditions, careless driving and driving on an expired license, state police said.

The crash, which was reported at 6:47 p.m., occurred on Stanley Avenue 98 feet west of Shadyside Drive, police said.

Camper broken into, items stolen

MERCERSBURG, Pa. - A camper in the 7500 block of Robinson Road was broken into Wednesday and various items were stolen, said Pennsylvania State Police. Police said it is unclear when the burglary occurred.

Shotgun, miscellaneous tools stolen

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - A shotgun and miscellaneous tools were stolen in the 800 block of Milnor Road in Antrim Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The theft occurred between May 10 and Tuesday, state police said.
