Business moves to downtown Williamsport



Aaromac Packing, Shipping & Printing recently moved into the business complex at 18 N. Conococheague St.

The owners are Tonyea Derwart, Thomas Blickenstaff, Shawn Cool and Eric Schminkey.

Derwart said their emphasis is on printing, packaging and shipping, specializing in large format plans for general contractors, builders, architects and engineers. In addition to Federal Express services, they also provide faxing, copying and laminating. Printing services include banners, business cards, lawn signs, brochures, posters and custom design.

They plan to add wedding invitations and wedding novelty tees soon, along with souvenirs.

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, call Derwart at 301-841-7695 or e-mail info@aaronmac printing.com.

Motorcycle ride to benefit Josh



A motorcycle ride will be Sunday to benefit Josh Forsythe, a Williamsport High School student who has cancer.

The ride is sponsored by Redmen Riders, Williamsport Band Boosters and Williamsport Athletic Boosters.

The ride begins at 1 p.m. at the Improved Order of Red Men Tribe 84 on Md. 68. Return to the Red Men Lodge will be between 4 and 4:30 p.m. Dinner begins at 5.

Tickets cost $15 for drivers and $5 for passengers. Tickets cost $10 per person for the dinner without the ride.

WHS class of 1944 planning reunion



The Williamsport High School class of 1944 is planning a reunion and would like to hear from classmates.

The event will be held Saturday, June 5, beginning at noon at Western Sizzlin' restaurant in Halfway.

Classmates are asked to call Katherine Burtner at 301-582-0326 by June 1 for reservations.

WHS class of 1960 to celebrate 50th reunion



The class of 1960 at Williamsport High School will celebrate its 50th reunion June 19 at Fountain Head Country Club, beginning at 6 p.m.

Friday night cruise-in planned



A cruise-in is planned Friday, starting at 6 p.m. at Springfield Farm Barn, Pavilion 3 parking lot.

Enter at Springfield Lane off U.S. 11. A $2 donation will be accepted. The event benefits Springfield Farm Barn.

Swim lessons to be held at pool



Early signup for Red Cross swim lessons will be held at Pavilion 1 in Byron Memorial Park on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

A registration fee of $50 is due at the time of sign-up by cash or check only.

Morning lessons are scheduled from 9:45 to 11:15 a.m. and evening lessons from 6:15 to 7:45 p.m. Sessions will be held June 7 to 17 (evening session only); June 21 to July 1; July 5 to 15; and July 19 to 29.

For later signup, call the pool at 301-223-5983 after May 29.
