WCPS supervisors and administrators nix pay raises

May 18, 2010|By DAVE McMILLION

Supervisors and administrators in Washington County Public Schools have agreed not to accept any pay increases in fiscal year 2010-11 due to economic conditions, Washington County Board of Education President Wayne D. Ridenour said Tuesday night.

People in that category include principals and vice principals, Ridenour said.

The agreement was announced to the Washington County Board of Education during Tuesday's meeting.

The executive staff of Superintendent Elizabeth Morgan already agreed to a pay freeze, Ridenour said.
