How did you get into your business, or what motivated you to start it? "In a family-oriented town like Hagerstown, Monkey Joe's is the perfect fit. Parents appreciate that Monkey Joe's offers a place for families to spend active time together in a safe, social and fun environment. We were seeking a career change and Monkey Joe's proved to be a promising business opportunity that also offers flexibility to our family. In addition, this business allows us to accelerate our commitment to the community. We plan to integrate Monkey Joe's into the community through local schools, sports teams, Scouting and day cares."

Previous business experience: "Ken has 20 years of experience in the printing business, including management positions. Carol has 21 years of experience in the mortgage servicing business. We are both involved in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and are donating proceeds from our grand opening weekend to both Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Boys & Girls Club."
