Master Naturalist workshops deadline
GREAT CACAPON, W.Va. -Potomac Valley Audubon Society will offer two Master Naturalist workshops Saturday, June 5. National and cultural history of ferns, 9 a.m. to noon, Eidolon Nature Preserve near Great Cacapon; and review of the Project WILD conservation and environmental education program, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Cacapon State Park. Applications to enroll should be submitted no later than Saturday, May 22. Workshops cost $10 each for Master Naturalist program members and trainees and $15 for the public. Photography workshops
Monika Wertman will offer three photography workshops this summer. Still life, 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, June 1 to June 15; portraiture, 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, June 22 to July 6; and landscape, 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, July 13 to July 27. Participants must have access to a digital SLR camera with manual controls. Contemporary School of the Arts & Gallery, 4 W.
