Memorial Day tournament
There will be a Memorial Day slow-pitch softball tournament May 29 to 31 at the Pinesburg Softball Complex.
The entry fee is $250 per team and the tournament is open to all Class D teams. Only 20 teams will be allowed to enter on a first-come, first-served basis.
Each team is guaranteed five games using the one-up home run rule and all teams will advance to the elimination finals.
The first- and second-place teams will advance to the upper finals, while the third- and fourth-place teams will play each other in the lower finals. Cash awards will be given out to the winner of each final.

Registration for the high school division of the Washington County Girls Softball League will be held today through May 22 at the Kemps Mill Softball Complex in Williamsport.
