May 12, 19, 26 and June 2, 9, 16: Rotary Club of Williamsport meeting at The Improved Order of Red Men Club, 7:15 a.m.

May 12, 19, 26 and June 2, 9, 16: Children's story time, Williamsport Memorial Library, 11:30 a.m. Stories, songs, movie and a craft for ages 3 to 5. June 2 is the Summer Reading Club kickoff.

May 12: Band concerts, Springfield Middle School auditorium. Sixth-grade band at 6 p.m.; seventh-grade band at 7 p.m.; and eighth-grade band at 8 p.m. Admission for each concert is $2.

May 13, 17, 20, 24, 27 and June 3, 7, 10, 14, 17: Williamsport Food Bank, Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsport, 9 a.m. to noon.


May 13 and June 10: Teen Coffee House, Williamsport Memorial Library, 5 p.m. On May 13, meet author Stephanie Corum. On June 10, reading and community projects.

May 13, 20, 27 and June 3, 10, 17: The Shepherd's Table (Williamsport Ministerium soup kitchen) at Rehoboth United Methodist Church, 30 E. Salisbury St., 5:15 to 6 p.m.

May 13, 27 and June 10: Williamsport Lions Club meeting, Williamsport American Legion, 6:15 p.m.

May 13: Williamsport Blue Band spring concert, Williamsport High School auditorium, 7:30 p.m. Pops concert. Tickets cost $5 for adults and $2 for students and seniors. The Wind Ensemble will play a piece to promote cancer awareness. The band will collect donations to assist the family of Josh Forsythe, a band member with a rare form of cancer. May 15: Tree planting and pruning workshop, 9 to 11:30 a.m. Meet at Town Hall at 9 a.m. Presented by Becky Wilson with Maryland Department of Natural Resources. Free hands-on demonstration on Salisbury Street.

May 21: Williamsport High School Band Boosters Money Bonanza, Hagerstown Elks Lodge, Robinwood Drive. Doors open at 5 p.m.; dinner at 6 p.m. $35 per couple. Includes food, soda and beer on tap. DJ from 8 p.m. to midnight. Drawings, raffles, 50/50, tip jars. First and every 10th ticket drawn wins $35. Last ticket drawn wins $1,000. Must be 21 or older to attend. May 21: Cruise-in, Springfield Barn, 6 p.m. $2 donation. Sponsored by Town of Williamsport to benefit Town Museum of Williamsport.

May 23: Motorcycle ride and dinner benefit for Josh Forsythe Fund. Josh is a Williamsport High 10th-grader with Ewing's sarcoma. Ride hosted by Red Men Riders, and Williamsport High School band and athletic boosters. The Improved Order of Red Men Club.
