Pennsylvania and West Virginia residents did particularly well picking up prizes during the Bonanza Extravaganza Friday and Saturday at the Hagerstown Speedway, according to an event spokesman.

The grand prize of $100,000 went to a Fayetteville, Pa., resident, Glenn Fuscsick said Sunday.

Organizers said 16,000 people attended the fifth annual Bonanza Extravaganza, which offered more than $825,000 in prizes.

Sponsored by the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 1605 Foundation, the event helps raise money for local nonprofits.

Prizes awarded during the event included seven new Harley-Davidson motorcycles, seven new Chevrolet vehicles, campers, four-wheelers, cash and merchandise.

Among the vehicles were two Camaros, one of which was won by Gary Arntz of Martinsburg, W.Va.

The other Camaro was won by a Clear Spring resident, Fuscsick said.

Other winners included:

o A Chambersburg, Pa., resident won $10,000.

o A Shippensburg, Pa., man won $15,000.

o A Berkeley Springs, W.Va., resident won $5,000.

o An Orrstown, Pa., man won $5,000.
