RED LION, Pa. -- Greencastle-Antrim dominated the Red Lion Tournament on Saturday, scoring 26 runs on 22 hits in 11 innings.

In the semifinals, the Blue Devils (16-2) defeated Muhlenburg in six innings. Cole Sellers had two hits, including a two-run homer, and drove in three runs. Eric Schanzenbacher tripled twice and drove in a run, Jared Grove had two hits and an RBI, and Dylan Schaeffer added two hits and pitched a five-hitter with two walks and six strikeouts.

Greencastle ripped Red Lion in five innings for the title, scoring seven runs in the second and eight in the fifth. Sellers tripled, doubled and drove in three, Grove hit two doubles and drove in three, Dylan Schaeffer had two hits and three RBIs, Cody Ezolt had two hits and an RBI, and Devin Schaeffer pitched a three-hitter with five walks and two strikeouts.

Hawks host Region XX tournament as top seed

Hagerstown Community College is the No. 1 seed for the Region XX Tournament, which will open Friday at HCC.

No. 2-seed Chesapeake will face No. 3-seed ASA (N.Y.) on Friday morning at 10, and the Hawks will play No. 4-seed Potomac State in the afternoon at 1. The losers of the two games will play an elimination game at 4.

The tournament will continue with two games Saturday starting at 11 a.m., and the championship round will be played Sunday starting at 11 a.m.

MAPL Championships

MERCERSBURG, Pa. -- Deborah Adjibaba won three events at Saturday's Mid-Atlantic Prep League Championships to lead host Mercersburg Academy's girls to a second-place team finish.

Adjibaba set a school record in the 100 in 12.63 seconds and also won the 200 (26.90) and 400 (1:00.12) for the Blue Storm, who finished with 125 points. Lawrenceville won with 198 points.

Julianna Dahbura set a school record in the girls triple jump -- in her first time performing the event in a meet -- by leaping 32 feet, 3 1/4 inches. Mackenzie Riford won the girls 3,200 (12:08.89) and was second in the 1,600 (5:33.17).

Mercersburg's boys finished fifth out of six teams with 57 points. Neb Osman set a conference record in winning the 1,600 in 4:22.56, and also took second in the 3,200 in 9:52.09. Mike Lorentsen won the pole vault, clearing 12 feet.

Lawrenceville won the boys team title with 231 1/2 points.
