Emmanuel Baptist Temple children do well in regional

WESTMINSTER, Md. - Children in the Masters Club of Emmanuel Baptist Temple participated in the 2010 Master Clubs Regional competition April 17, at Church of the Open Door in Westminster.

Fourteen churches participated throughout the day in fine arts events, presentations, individual events, team Bible events and team athletic events.

Awards were presented to church members in the following events:

Team athletic events

o Girls Flying Carpet relay, first place - Brooke Gaylor, Chloe Prejean, Kaylee Smith, Bailie Wills.

o Boys Flying Carpet relay, third place - Jared Muller, Ben Quirple, Ashton Rowles, Micah Smith.

o Girls Speed Stacking relay, second place - Brooke Gaylor, Grace Muller, Chloe Prejean, Kaylee Smith.

o Boys Speed Stacking relay, second place - Jared Muller, Ben Quirple, Ashton Rowles, Micah Smith.

Team Bible events

o Story/chapter/truth relay, second place - Brooke Gaylor, Grace Muller, Jared Muller, Chloe Prejean, Kaylee Smith.

o Team Bible quizzing, third place - Grace Muller, Kaylee Smith, Micah Smith.

o Words from the Word relay, fourth place - Ben Quirple, Grace Muller, Jared Muller, Ashton Rowles, Micah Smith.

Fine arts events

o Art, second place - Rebecca Moyer.

o Crafts, first place - Bailie Wills.

o Small Ensemble, second place - Brooke Gaylor, Rebecca Moyer, Jared Muller, Grace Muller, Chloe Prejean, Ben Quirple, Ashton Rowles, Kaylee Smith, Micah Smith, Bailie Wills.
