NHHS class of 1980 planning 30th reunion



The North Hagerstown High class of 1980 will hold its 30-year class reunion Saturday, July 24, at the Williamsport Red Men Lodge under the pavilion. The cost is $45 per couple/$22.50 per single. The dress will be casual, and the party starts at 5 p.m.

BHS class of 1960



The Class of 1960 from Boonsboro High School will celebrate its 50-year reunion Saturday, Sept. 25. The banquet will be held at the Boonsboro American Legion.

Yard sale to be held



On Saturday, May 15, a yard sale will be held at the Maugansville Ruritan community park from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Food will be available for purchase. Proceeds go to veterans projects sponsored by the Korean War Veterans Association, Antietam Chapter 312 in Funkstown.

Car show planned



Clear Spring Fire Co. will hold a car, truck and motorcycle show at the Clear Spring carnival grounds Saturday, May 15. Registration is from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The entry fee will be $10.

Breakfast sandwiches will be on sale from 9 to 10 a.m. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until sold out.

A free sandwich and soda will go to the first 25 vehicle drivers.

Dash plaques will go to the first 50 vehicles. Awards will be given out at 2 p.m.

Spaces will be available to sell items and products or to set up displays. Spaces rent for $10 per space.

Participants need to bring their own tables.

There will be 50/50s, games, trivia and Chinese auction.
