GREENCASTLE, Pa. -- Autumn Applebee struck out 11 of the 17 hitters she faces to pitch a five-inning no-hitter for a Mid Penn Capital victory over Boiling Springs.

Blue Devils second baseman Katy Bobbitt preserved the no-hitter with a diving stop in the fifth inning. Boiling Springs drew two walks for its only baserunners.

Carly Mowen went 3-for-4 with five RBIs, including a run-scoring grounder in Greencastle's five-run first inning and an RBI double in a five-run third.

Wendy Wolff, Rachel Kline and Brittany Norling had two hits each for Greencastle (13-3, 8-1).

ELLIOTTSBURG, Pa. -- Margaret Weber's squeeze bunt in the 10th inning scored Megan Baker for what became the eventual winning run as Waynesboro edged West Perry in the Mid-Penn Colonial.

Dani Miller, who started the 10th on second under international tiebreaker rules, scored the first of the Maidens' two runs in the frame on a passed ball. Baker had three hits, Meghin Decker added two hits and winning pitcher Katie Zak had two hits, pitched all 10 innings and struck out 10 for Waynesboro (14-3, 7-3).
