TOPS 0446
Congratulations to returning TOPS 0446 member Gary, who was the "thinner winner" with a 10.8-pound loss.
The six-week veggie contest that ended had two winning categories: the one who ate the greatest number of servings of vegetables (winner, Judy H.); and the one who ate the greatest variety (winners, Cathryn and Cynthia).
Guest speaker Mary Jo Kemper, who reached her weight-loss goal five years ago and has maintained her status as a KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly), inspired the chapter with how she has attained and maintained her success. She reminded the group of the essential elements needed to reach and maintain weight-loss goals.
At the next meeting, Betty Jo will present the program on sweeteners, which was canceled in February due to inclement weather.
Meetings are Wednesdays from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., with weigh-in beginning at 8:45 a.m., at Shiloh United Methodist Church, 19731 Shiloh Church Road, Hagerstown.
