COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. -- Tanner Everton had two hits and two RBIs, while Tyler Hamilton and Brett Heller each added two hits to lead Jefferson (18-8) to a 5-2 win over Martinsburg at Doubleday Field on Saturday.

T.J. Weisenberg and Austin Nealey had two hits apiece for Martinsburg (17-8).

Evan Appleby had two hits, including a solo home run as part of McConnellsburg's 21-hit outburst in the Spartans' eight-inning victory at St. Maria Goretti.

Devin Webb had team highs with four hits and three RBIs, Darren McQuade added three hits and two RBIs and Jesse Swope had two RBIs for McConnellsburg (6-7). Nathan Swope and Seth Seville each had three hits, while Drew Wink and Caleb Consty added two hits apiece in the win.

Ian Moss led the Gaels (8-14) with four hits, while Andrew Bowling had three hits and two RBIs and Jay Donoghue added two hits and three RBIs. Dan Rost had three hits and Nic Martin, Connor Grimsley and Aaron Wilkinson each had two hits.

Alan Mocahbee had three hits and two RBIs, Andy Mocahbee and Aron Shiley each added two hits and Malik Hunter drove in two runs for the Applemen.

Phillip Longnecker hit a pair of homers and had three RBIs for the Eagles, while Jeremy Ebersole also had two hits.

HERSHEY, Pa. -- Greencastle-Antrim won the Lower Dauphin tournament with victories over host Lower Dauphin, 5-0 and State College, 6-5.

In the championship game over State College, Diamond Byers had three hits, including a walkoff two-RBI single in the bottom of the seventh with two outs to win the game after State College scored two go-ahead runs in the top of the seventh.

Jenna Crunkleton had two hits, including a double, and Rachel Kline and Brittany Norling had two hits each for the Blue Devils (11-3).

In the first round, Autumn Appleby pitched a complete-game one-hitter with 12 strikeouts and Katy Bobbitt had a triple in the shutout over Lower Dauphin.
