"Repeat this ... in answer to where the old South Potomac diner was, it is now where the CVS is on South Potomac Street. Don't know the exact address, but that's where it was."

- Smithsburg

"I believe that the downfall of our great nation is going to be due to greed; the greedy business people that sold the American workers for the almighty dollar, by shipping jobs over to Mexico and China, And the president of the U.S. just doesn't get it. We need jobs here in America. With good-paying jobs, we wouldn't have a mortgage crisis, because people could afford their mortgage payments. That's the key to the whole puzzle. If this country has to go back to isolationism, so be it."

- Williamsport

"Way to go, state of Arizona."

- Cascade

"To the person who was cutting down local area baseball teams or sports teams for the bad records: Don't cut down everybody. The Hagerstown Suns are 9 and 9, and are currently in second place, just a game out of first. So we - at least have one team in this area doing well. And I'd like to say that - a word of thanks to Washington County Hospital as well, with what they do."

"The majority of people in the U.S. have been for years asking the government to do something about illegal immigrants. Now Arizona has put in a law to help address this problem, and what happens? There are protests, and even our president has spoken out against this ... If you don't like it, leave the country. I believe when American citizens go to other countries, they need the proper paperwork."

- Hagerstown

"I drive a dump truck, and I have problems with the parking on Washington Avenue, beside Winter Street school. I'd like to see the Hagerstown police department enforce the 'No parking' signs there, and because people come out and let their kids out on the street side, about knocked the door off on one vehicle. Kids get out ... on the ... passenger side instead of the driver's side."

- Hagerstown

"Page A7, 'Oil company at fault in polluted well suit.' They should be fined for polluting the bay, also. I live four hours away, and I am forced to pay, because my sewer runs that far, and where they are is a lot closer than me."

- Clear Spring

"This is for the 49-year-old mother who plays her stereo very loud, and thinks it's freedom. Well, it is freedom, and it is also your right to enjoy that freedom, but when your rights infringe on someone else's rights to some quiet and some privacy and whatnot, then you are in the wrong. I hate to tell you that, but you are wrong when you play your stereo and someone complains. Your personal rights stop when they infringe on another's personal rights."

- Hagerstown

"I think Maryland's governor ought to be as brave as the Arizona governor on this immigration thing, and I think Obama ought to keep his big nose out of it. He didn't care what the American people thought about health care. How come he cares what the illegals think? These people are here illegally. They need to be thrown out of the country."

- Williamsport

"This is to comment on the Hagerstown caller who suggested the Catholic Church might want to change its rules and regulations and let priests marry. I've always felt that should be done. I mean, that's just not a normal way for those people to live. But watch out for that word 'companion.' Nowadays a lot of people are sexually living together, and it's called - in the Bible it's called fornication, in 1 Corinthians 6 verse 9. God is very clear on His take on that kind of a relationship."

- Hagerstown

"What a disappointment. Here was a perfect opportunity for Ben Roethlisberger to come out and really show sincerity and remorse for what happened, and he comes out with a statement, probably written by his spokesperson or lawyer or somebody like that, and there was no sincerity whatever. It's the same old, same old. Hopefully he'll change, but boy, if you had to go by what he said ... same old, same old 'I'm Big Ben, I'm entitled, and get out of my way.' Sorry, don't buy it."

- Hagerstown

"I see the Republicans are blocking another bill today. Well, that's breaking news. They haven't done that for, what, two days now? Seems like everything the Democrats throw up there, the Republicans want to block it. Why don't you just change your party affiliation from GOP to NOPE?"

- Hagerstown

"You know, this sports things at the high school where kids get on a team and don't get to play at all, even before the score gets out of hand, I think they ought to make a rule in the high school that all kids play a couple innings of ball, regardless of what. And they also have to pay to get on a team, from what I can gather, so I've been through all that, so I think it's a shame to see kids, tears down their eyes, that don't even get to play at all. So these high school coaches should have some compassion."
