The Hagerstown Police Department responded to the following incidents, according to spokeswoman Barbara Pickett:

April 20



o A pocketbook was reported stolen in the 17000 block of Garland Groh Boulevard.

o A cell phone was reported stolen from the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts on Potomac Street.

April 23



o An unauthorized use of a 2005 Mitsubishi 4S was reported in the 1700 block of Edgewood Hill Circle. The vehicle had a license plate number of MD 9FMB27.

o A burglary was reported at Brew Necessity on Jefferson Street.

o A theft was reported at North Hagerstown High School.

o A rear window on a vehicle was reported broken in the 600 block of West Washington Street.

o A bicycle was reported stolen in the 200 block of Summer Street.

o Three males wearing black do-rags and red bandanas reportedly assaulted a female with bats in the 600 block of West Franklin Street.

o Papers, clothes and jewelry were reported stolen during a burglary in the 900 block of Security Road.

April 24



o Windows on a vehicle were damaged in the 300 block of West Side Avenue.

o A burglary was reported in the first block of East Franklin Street when a male pushed his way into the residence.

o A vehicle was reported vandalized at North Hagerstown High School.

o A pit bull was reported stolen in the 300 block of Summit Avenue.

o A theft involving quick-change artists was reported at Martin's on Dual Highway.

o A blue Schwinn bicycle was reported stolen in the 300 block of South Potomac Street.

April 25



o Money and a computer were reported stolen during a burglary in the 600 block of Potomac Avenue.

o A car was reportedly spraypainted in the 800 block of Guilford Avenue.

Domestic violence



o A referral was made at 11:45 a.m. in the first block of South Mulberry Street on April 18.

o A referral was made at 8:37 p.m. in the first block of North Cannon Avenue on April 21.

o A referral was made at 8:26 a.m. in the 100 block of East Avenue on April 22.

o A referral was made at 9:07 a.m. in the 600 block of Chestnut Street on April 23.

o A referral was made at 7:03 p.m. in the 700 block of Forrest Avenue on April 23.

o A second-degree assault was reported at 8:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of Noland Drive on April 23.

o A second-degree assault was reported at 4:50 a.m. in the 100 block of East Franklin Street on April 24.

o A referral was made at 11:04 a.m. in the 800 block of Monet Drive on April 24.

o A second-degree assault was reported at 6:17 p.m. in the 1000 block of West Washington Street.

Juvenile arrests



o A theft was reported at 4:36 p.m. in the 400 block of Mitchell Avenue on March 12. Male offender.

o A juvenile detention warrant was issued at Washington County Technical High School on Oak Ridge Drive at 5:49 p.m. on April 25. Female offender.

o A resisting arrest incident occurred at 4:21 p.m. in the 600 block of North Prospect Street. Male offender.

o A theft occurred in the 800 block of Salem Avenue at 5:30 p.m. on March 27. Two male offenders.

o A weapons violation occurred at South Hagerstown High School on April 12. Male offender.

o A controlled dangerous substance violation was reported at Antietam Academy at 9:46 a.m. on April 13. Male offender.

o A second-degree assault was reported at 9:30 a.m. on April 16 at South Hagerstown High School. Male offender.
