Youth and adult tennis instruction

Lifeguard training

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -Martinsburg-Berkeley County Parks and Recreation will offer American Red Cross Lifeguard Training. Participants must have completed Level V of ARC swimming instruction and be 15 years of age prior to the start of class. A swim skills test will be administered the first day of class. Photography workshops

Monika Wertman will offer three photography workshops this summer. Still life, 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, June 1 to June 15; portraiture, 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, June 22 to July 6; and landscape, 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, July 13 to July 27. Participants must have access to a digital SLR camera with manual controls. Contemporary School of the Arts & Gallery, 4 W. Franklin St., Hagerstown. $100 per workshop, to be paid in full at the time of registration. A 10-percent multi-workshop discount is available, if all three workshops are signed up at the same time.
