THURMONT, Md. -- Ryne Willard hit his fifth home run of the season, a three-run shot in the fifth inning to aid Smithsburg in its MVAL Antietam win against Catoctin (7-7, 3-5).

Aaron Dinterman doubled twice and had two RBIs and Aaron Schroyer added two hits for the Leopards (7-6, 4-6).

MERCERSBURG, Pa. -- Sam Rodgers drove in Mercersburg Academy's first two runs with a first-inning double, and the Blue Storm never trailed in a win over St. Maria Goretti.

Winning pitcher Matt Timoney and Christian Binford each had two hits for Mercersburg (9-4-1).

Jay Donoghue doubled twice for the Gaels (7-13).

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. -- Tyler McDonald's RBI single in the bottom of the eighth inning scored Garrett Sanders and gave Chambersburg a walkoff victory against Red Land (8-5, 3-4) in the Mid-Penn Commonwealth.

Jordan Riley hit a two-run homer in the sixth inning to tie the game at 5 for the Trojans (7-4, 4-2).

HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. -- Jeremy Ebersole's two-out, two-run single in the seventh inning capped Hedgesville's comeback and gave the Eagles a win at home against Martinsburg.

Huey Hite started on the mound for Hedgesville (12-11) and struck out 14 with just two walks in six innings of work.

Zach Woolcock had his no-hit bid ended in the sixth inning for the Bulldogs (16-7), but pitched a complete game with 12 strikeouts and two walks.

SHENANDOAH JUNCTION, W.Va. -- Jake Sites crushed the first pitch he saw for a walkoff grand slam in the bottom of the seventh to send Jefferson home victorious over Washington.

The Cougars (17-7) scored five runs in the seventh inning, with the first run coming on a John Patrick Jones bases-loaded walk. Seth Wight had three hits, including a homer, and five RBIs and Zach Lambert had two hits in the win.

Mike King had two hits, including a homer and John Rickards added two doubles for the Patriots (4-14).

MERCERSBURG, Pa. -- Denton Ensminger had two hits, including a three-run homer and five RBIs as Greencastle shut out James Buchanan.

Cody Ezolt had two hits and four RBIs and Eric Schanzenbacher had two hits and two RBIs for the Blue Devils (9-2).

In a suspended game from April 8 completed Wednesday, Ensminger had two hits, including a two-run homer and five RBIs to lead Greencastle to a 11-0 shutout.

Schanzenbacher had two hits and two RBIs and Ezolt had two hits and an RBI.
