TOPS Chapter 462

The TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter 462 in Smithsburg had a good weigh-in this past week, with an average loss per member of about 1.45 pounds.

Dale and Mack tied for the thinner-winner honors, with each losing 2.5 pounds. Sue had another loss for the week, making it 11 weeks in a row without a gain. Ola led the program on adding fiber to the diet and how it helps people lose weight.

John, the chapter leader, passed out charms to all the members. One of the charms was a cut-and- burn charm to remind the members to cut 100 calories from their diets and to burn 100 calories each day. The other charm was called TOPS - It's My Time - to remind members to make time for themselves.
