She was a member of Church of God Universal in Hagerstown.
Survivors include daughter, Linda C. Holmes of Hagerstown; son, Kenneth R. Underwood of Roanoke; son, Robert L. Underwood of Hagerstown; sister, Jessie Manning of Hagerstown; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Walter T. Underwood, Ricky L. Underwood and James A. Underwood; four sisters, Opal Sigman, Bessie Cherry, Bethel Guilliams and Jocie Richards; and two brothers, Clarence Guilliams and Quincey Guilliams.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 26, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Md. The funeral home will be open Monday after 1 p.m. for the convenience of family and friends.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown, with Pastor Alvin Craig officiating.
