LAKEWOOD, N.J. -- Domingo Santana led off the bottom of the 14th inning with a home run off Colton Willems to give the Lakewood BlueClaws a 9-8 victory over the Hagerstown Suns on Friday night.

The Suns took an 8-7 lead against Lakewood in the top of the 12th inning when Justin Bloxom doubled, took third on a wild pitch and scored on a balk by Lakewood reliever Chad Poe.

But the BlueClaws came back to tie it at 8 in the bottom half. Jeremy Barnes singled and later scored on Stephen Batts' single.

The Suns tied the game at 7 with two runs in the ninth. Singles by Sandy Leon, Eury Perez and Jeff Kobernus loaded the bases. Francisco Soriano hit a grounder to short that Jonathan Villar threw away for two runs.

After Brett Newsome was hit by a pitch to reload the bases, Justin Bloxom flew out to left and Soriano was doubled off second base to end the threat.

Lakewood jumped on Hagerstown starter Daniel Rosenbaum for a 4-0 lead in the first. Anthony Hewitt and Darin Ruf hit RBI singles, and two runs scored on Soriano's error at second.

Hagerstown answered with four runs in the second off BlueClaws starter Nicholas Hernandez. Leon had an RBI single and Perez hit an RBI triple.

The Suns made it 5-4 in the fourth when Leon hit a one-out triple and scored on Nicol's single.

The BlueClaws took a 6-5 lead in the sixth on Torre Langley's single, two walks -- one with the bases loaded -- a wild pitch and another error on Soriano.

Lakewood extended the lead to 7-5 in the seventh. Adam Buschini hit a leadoff triple to left and scored on Langley's sacrifice fly.
