GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Representatives from Tower Bank recently presented 230 first-grade students at Greencastle-Antrim Primary School with personalized books as part of the Learn to Read program.

As a sponsor of the Learn to Read program, Tower Bank employees visited the school to distribute the books to the students. Tower Bank representatives Cindy Marconi, Jeff Shank, Amy Hissong and Carol Christophel spent time reading the books with the students.

"The books are a hit with the students because each student is the main character of their personalized book," said Marconi, Greencastle branch sales manager of Tower Bank. "We are pleased to support and be part of such a wonderful program that encourages reading."

The Learn to Read program is designed by Freet Publishing of Willow Hill, Pa., and is committed to building excitement in reading by providing children with personalized books that place the children, their friends and their families into one storybook. The books are written on the child's reading level to promote reading.
