Church to hold spaghetti dinner
Salem United Methodist Church, at 25 S. Main St. in Keedysville, will host a spaghetti dinner and silent auction Friday, April 30, from 4 to 8 p.m. Tickets cost $7 per person and $4 for those ages 3 to 10. Proceeds will benefit the Keedysville Kids Day Camp.
Benevola Church to hold yard sale
Benevola United Methodist Church, off Alternate U.S. 40 at 19925 Benevola Church Road, will hold a yard sale Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the spiritual life center. The event will be held rain or shine. A bake table will be available.
Master Gardeners to hold plant sale
The Washington County Master Gardeners will hold a plant sale Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at the Ag Center at 7303 Sharpsburg Pike in Boonsboro.
The sale will feature hundreds of plants grown by Master Gardeners, new and used gardening books, tools and gifts, rain barrels and salad boxes.

Quartet to deliver message
The Promised Land Quartet will deliver their gospel message at First Christian Church, at 12A St. Paul St. in Boonsboro, Sunday, May 2, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. The quartet will accept an offering.
Fitness classes at Rockland
The Washington County Recreation Department will offer fitness classes at Rockland Woods Elementary School starting in May.
Zumba features Latin and hip hop rhythms taught by certified instructor Liz Martz. The classes will be Mondays and Wednesdays from May 10 to July 28, from 5:15 to 6 p.m. The class costs $35 for county residents and $45 for nonresidents.
Pilates is a total body conditioning workout structured to build strength and stamina. The class meets Monday evenings from May 10 to June 28 from 6:10 to 7 p.m. The class costs $25 for county residents and $35 for nonresidents.

Jackie Willison will speak on "Preventing Medication Reactions" Friday, April 30, at the senior site on Mount Vernon Drive in Keedysville. Merry Gehr will check blood pressures Monday.
