Esther Marie Wallech

April 22, 2010

DEC. 8, 1946-APRIL 20, 2010

Tuesday, April 20, 2010, the Lord called Esther to her eternal rest.

She was born Dec. 8, 1946, in Beaverdale, Pa., to the late Merle Sr. and Mabel Smith.

She was married to Nathan Miller Wallech, on April 1, 1966, and had just celebrated their 44th anniversary together. Her family and friends were her greatest joy in life. She had many friends across the country made through Internet connections, and, in particular, with her hobby of creating graphic art - a hidden talent awakened during the last years of her life. She was a wife, mother and friend of great devotion to those whom she loved.

She was a 1964 graduate of South Hagerstown High School, and former employee of the Washington County Hospital as a unit clerk (on 5E) and First Data Corp.

She is survived by her husband, Nathan Miller Wallech of Maugansville; daughter, Patricia Wallech of Elizabethtown, Pa.; son, Major Preston Wallech, his wife Pattama, and grandchildren, Tyler and Alyssa, of Sherman, Ariz.
