MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- A school bus carrying nine Hedgesville high school and middle school students was rear-ended Tuesday afternoon on Ben Speck Road near Hedgesville, W.Va., Berkeley County Schools spokesperson Jaimee Borger said.

Borger did not believe anyone was taken to the hospital after the accident, which occurred about 2:55 p.m. near Coleman Lane.

Borger said the amber lights on bus 110 were flashing when a truck struck the bus. Administrators from both schools responded to the scene of the accident, she said.

The bus had minor damage, Borger said.

The West Virginia State Police were dispatched to investigate the accident, according to Berkeley County Central Dispatch.
