Shirley Jacqueline Stickler, 74, of East Avenue, Hagerstown, Md., died Saturday, April 17, 2010, at Washington County Hospital.

Born June 5, 1935, in Keedysville, Md., she was the daughter of the late Martin L. and Delores Clipp Butts.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Harry Stickler; four daughters, Debra Hines and husband, Ronnie, Pamela Cook and husband, Brandon, and Angela Britton, all of Hagerstown, and Cathy Lane of Tampa, Fla.; two sons, Dennis Lane and wife, Mary, of Frederick, Md., and Douglas Lane of Hagerstown; one sister, Martine Earley of Boonsboro, Md.; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Thelma Rohrer; one brother, Terry Butts; and one half brother, John Benner.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Steve Wagoner will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport, Md.

The family will receive friends Tuesday at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m.
