April 19, 2010

WAYNESBORO, Pa. -- The Dawg House on West Fifth Street in the Borough of Waynesboro was cited by the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for allegedly selling alcohol after hours March 28, according to a police news release.

The liquor licensee can sign a waiver and receive a fine or he can choose to argue his case before an administrative law judge in Harrisburg, Pa., state police told The Herald-Mail in an earlier interview.

Penalties for after-hour sales range from $50 to $5,000, the news release stated. Also, license suspension or revocation can occur, as well as mandated training.
