Hagerstown Children's Theater set out Friday to break a record for longest improvised scene. The theater said in a news release that Guinness World Records doesn't have an official record, so the theater was trying to beat an unofficial one: 24 hours, by the Upright Comedy Brigade of New York City. Hagerstown Children's Theater hoped to improvise for 24 1/2 hours, finishing at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
