BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. -- Stephen J. Tamburo III was indicted Tuesday by a Morgan County grand jury on one count of murder and one count of concealment of a body in the death of his father, according to Morgan County Prosecutor Debra MH McLaughlin.

Tamburo, 39, of Shanghai Road in Berkeley Springs, is scheduled for arraignment April 19 in Morgan County Circuit Court, McLaughlin said.

Authorities said earlier that Stephen J. Tamburo Jr., also of Shanghai Road, was 62 when he went missing in December 2008.

Last April, a body later determined to be Stephen J. Tamburo Jr. was discovered in the Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management area close to the Morgan County-Berkeley County line, authorities said.

Stephen J. Tamburo III was taken into custody in Miami by U.S. Marshals in late August and extradited to Eastern Regional Jail in Martinsburg, W.Va., on Sept. 10.
