'Most Wanted' fugitive found in Chambersburg

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. -- A 28-year-old fugitive featured on "America's Most Wanted" was arrested Tuesday in Chambersburg, according to a news release from the U.S. Marshals Service.

Authorities had obtained an arrest warrant for Kashon Harris of Baltimore, charging him with crimes related to shootings at the Bishops Garth Apartments in Westminster, Md., in February. Marshals took him into custody in the 300 block of East Liberty Street at approximately 9:30 a.m., the news release stated.

Harris is charged with one count each of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit attempted murder, second-degree assault, malicious destruction of property and two handgun violations.

The news release said Harris randomly fired shots inside an apartment during an argument among four people. Two people suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Harris was being held in Franklin County (Pa.) Jail pending extradition hearings.

Chambersburg police, the Franklin County Sheriff's Office and Pennsylvania State Police assisted in the case.

Last week, the Marshals in Chambersburg arrested a Trenton, N.J., man described as a Blood gang member.
