Memorial celebration planned for Mike Koch

On what would have been his 50th birthday, the Koch family invites friends and family members to join them for a night of memories, songs and karaoke to celebrate the life of Michael Patrick Koch.

The event will be Friday, May 21, at the Wilson Ruritan on National Pike, Hagerstown, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Mike died in Virginia Beach on Dec. 11, as a retired Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy. Many of his friends and loved ones could not attend his funeral.

Mike was an outstanding athlete in the 1970s at Williamsport High School, and had many friends here. Bring your own stories to celebrate his life. This will be a BYOB affair. Snacks and cake will be provided. For more information, call Toni (Koch) Nelson at 301-739-7331.
