Trevor Haupt led South Hagerstown with two hits and three RBIs as the Rebels used a five-run fourth inning to take the lead for good in an MVAL Antietam win over Catoctin (5-5, 1-4).

Nick Stubbs and Tim Hoover had two hits apiece for South (5-4, 2-3).

Hite pitched six innings, gave up four hits, walked one and struck out 11 to earn his first win of the year for the Eagles (6-10). Brad Crowell had three RBIs and Phillip Longnecker added two hits.

Dani Miller stretched a single into a double and then scored on Megan Baker's double in the sixth inning. Miller had two hits and Margaret Weber had two RBIs for the Maidens (8-0).
