Big Read, Big Bleed

  • After donating blood, HCC student Adam Martens picks up his copy of the works of Edgar Allan Poe as part of the Big Read meets Big Bleed program held on Tuesday in the Student Center at HCC. It was sponsored by the Community Foundation of Washington County and HCC's Student Government Association. Everyone who donated blood to the American Red Cross received a book of the works of Edgar Allan Poe. This event is part of the third annual Big Read, a month-long celebration sponsored by the Community Foundation.

After donating blood, HCC student Jessica Preston picks up a book containing the works of Edgar Allan Poe as part of the Big Read Big Bleed program Tuesday in the college's Student Center. The Big Read Big Bleed was sponsored by the Community Foundation of Washington County and HCC's Student Government Association in conjunction with the third annual Big Read. During the event, those who donated blood to the American Red Cross received books containing Poe's writings.
