HAGERSTOWN --An 84-year-old Hagerstown woman was in critical condition Monday, one day after being hit by a pickup truck.
The woman was a patient at the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
The hospital listed her name as Wasuko Horioka.
Hagerstown Police reported her name as Yasuko Hanioka.
Sgt. Eric Knode was not sure which spelling was correct, but confirmed that the woman in the hospital is the woman who was hit.
The woman was hit by a Toyota pickup in front of the Alexander House around 10 a.m. Sunday, according to Washington County Emergency Services and Hagerstown Police. The Alexander House is at 7 E. Washington St. in downtown Hagerstown.
