Barnes wins 800 for 'Cats
MIDDLETOWN, Md. -- Williamsport's Renee Barnes won the girls 800-meter run 2:29.50 at the Don Boyer Invitational.
Also for the Wildcats, Julia Price placed second in the girls 1,600 (5:40.42) and Mark Oliver was third in the boys 1,600 (4:33.01). The Williamsport girls placed third in the 4x400 relay (4:19.91) and third in the 4x800 (10:36.79).
BOYS LACROSSE
Smithsburg 15, Great Mills 3
GREAT MILLS, Md. -- Cullan Ganley and A.J. Minnich each had four goals to lead Smithsburg over Great Mills.
Ganley also had three assists and Minnich had one for the Leopards (3-3). Clayton Layman had two goals and an assist, Mark Chirdon had a goal and an assist and Mark Grove, Kevin Grimm, Taylor Valencia and Alex Sweeney each had one goal.
