HANCOCK, Md. - Bernard Stanley Santor, age 75, of Deneen Road, died Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown, Md.
Born in Orwigsburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Stanley and Eva Althea Peifley Santor.
He was a 1952 graduate of Orwigsburg High School, attended Kutztown State College and the University of Notre Dame.
He was retired from the former Home Federal Bank in Hancock, Md., as vice president.
He was a member of the Hancock Lions Club.
He was active in the Hancock Little League, and a member and treasurer of the Hancock Republican Club.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, where he was a corporator.
He was formerly active with and past president of the PTA.
He is survived by his wife, E. Joann Divel Santor, whom he married Oct. 28, 1962, in Baltimore, Md.; two daughters, Lisa Santor of Hagerstown, Md., and Jan Santor Hewett and husband Shannon of Hancock, Md.; one son, Todd Santor and wife Danette of Hancock, Md.; four grandchildren, Rachel Haines, Samuel Haines, Karragan Hewett and Koleman Hewett; and a number of nieces and nephews.
