Activities: Students will form bands and work with area musicians, getting one-on-one training in instruments and rehearsal time with a full band. Also, coaching in marketing, training in song structure and lyric writing, and other advice on working as a musician.

Activities: Weeklong activities include jazz band rehearsals, individual coaching, group coaching, combo/improvisation classes, theory classes, master classes and a concert. Tuition fee includes lunches and Friday dinner. Camp is from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.

Activities: Students will be taught rhythms, strumming patterns, note and chart reading, technique and theory. They will practice rock 'n' roll and other genres. Students must bring own nylon-string guitars. Class is from 1:30 to 2:20 p.m.

Activities: Through games and rehearsals, students will learn skills for singing, acting, character analysis and team work. Sessions will conclude with a performance of a scene from a musical play. Class is from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Activities: Singers and all instrumentalists are encouraged to sign up. One prior year of music lessons is recommended. Students will learn the essential skills of song writing in a variety of genres and for instrumental and vocal composition. Students will be guided in the creative process, composing their own song and notating it in a chart form. Class is from 2:30 to 3:20 p.m.

Activities: The Wind Chamber Music Institute provides a creative and intense course of study open to high school music students who play flute, oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon. Students will perform a concert at the end of camp.
