Samples Manor to hold spring revival



The Samples Manor Church of God, at 2128 Harpers Ferry Road near Dargan, will hold a spring revival from Sunday, April 11 to Sunday, April 18, featuring the following speakers and musicians:

Legion Auxiliary to collect flags



The American Legion Auxiliary, Antietam Unit 236, will place a collection barrel in front of Sharpsburg Town Hall from April 15 to May 25 where residents may place their worn American flags for proper disposal by unit members.

Antietam Unit 236 reminds all residents that every day is a good day to display an American flag in good condition, but it is especially important to display them for the upcoming patriotic holidays of Memorial Day (May 30, observed May 31), Flag Day (June 14), Independence Day (July 4) and Labor Day (Sept. 6), Patriot Day (Sept. 11) and POW/MIA Recognition Day (Sept. 17).

BHS class of 1965 seeks class members



The Boonsboro High class of 1965 will hold a reunion picnic June 26 at Shafer park in Boonsboro.

The class is seeking the addresses, phone numbers or e-mails of the following class members: Harry Cunningham Jr., Gale Younkins, Barbara Lumm Morrison, Jim McCoy, Karen McGowan, Ed Messer, Dennis Mullendore, Vernon Rohrer and Doris Stevens Rodenheaver.

Ita Kavanaugh to speak at senior site



Ita Kavanaugh will speak on "Brown Bag Your Medications" Monday at the senior site on Mount Vernon Drive in Keedysville.

Young at Heart exercises will continue Wednesday and Jo Lum chair caning will continue Thursday.
