Hagerstown police respond to calls



The Hagerstown Police Department responded to the following incidents, according to spokeswoman Barbara Pickett:

March 25

o Damage to property was reported in the 300 block of South Burhans Boulevard.

o A windshield was shot with a BB on South Burhans Boulevard.

o A second-degree assault was reported in the 100 block of Summer Street.

March 26

o Tires were reported slashed in the 1000 block of West Washington Street.

o A theft involving an online purchase of a computer was reported in the 50 block of North Burhans Boulevard.

o A prescription pad was reported stolen in the 300 block of Mill Street.

o A trash can was reported damaged at Bester Elementary School on Memorial Boulevard.

o Soft drinks and change was reported stolen from a Pepsi machine in the 20 block of Antietam Street.

o A hose connector was reported stolen from the Lumber Yard at 775 Frederick Street.

o An attempted theft of a hose connector was reported from National Golden Tissue at 858 Willow Circle.

March 27

o A window was reported broken in the 700 block of Guilford Avenue.

March 28

o Vehicle tires were reported slashed in the 900 block of Pope Avenue.

o A burglary was reported in the 1000 block of Pope Avenue.

o A mirror was reported broken on a vehicle in the 300 block of McDowell Avenue.

March 29

o Copper was reported stolen in the 100 block of South Potomac Street.

o $261 was reported missing from a cash register at Wendy's on Garland Groh Boulevard.

March 30

o A door was pried in an attempted burglary in the 20 block of South Potomac Street.

o A cell phone was stolen in the 1200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

o A Maryland vehicle tag of 00137M3 was stolen in the 200 block of South Mulberry Street.

o A tire on a vehicle was damaged in the 1200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

o A tool box containing numerous tools was stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Lee Street.

March 31

o A theft occurred in the 17000 block of Garland Groh Boulevard.

April 1

o A Maryland vehicle tag of 27486M7 was stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of South Potomac Street.

o A burglary occurred in the 900 block of St. Clair Street. Suspect is a former tenant.

April 2

o A GPS unit was stolen from a vehicle in the 300 block of Bryan Place.

o A theft was reported in the 1400 block of Lindsay Lane.

o An attempted burglary was reported in at a vacant residence in the 100 block of West Bethel Street.

o A theft of services involving a cab ride was reported in the 1000 block of Noland Drive.

o A GPS unit was stolen from Staples on Wesel Boulevard.

o A second degree assault occurred in the 1000 block of Security Road.

o An employee theft was reported at KFC on Dual Highway.

o A motorcycle was pushed over by two teenagers in the 12000 block of Little Elliot Drive.

o Cash was stolen in the 300 block of Dual Highway.

April 4

o A female was punched by an unknown male in the 200 block of Mill Street.

o A John Deere mower was stolen from a garage in the 1300 block of Salem Avenue.

o A GPS unit and other items were stolen from a vehicle in the 700 block of Washington Avenue.
