Westbound I-70 again open after collision, fuel spill

WASHINGTON COUNTY --Westbound Interstate 70 near Hagerstown is again open after two trucks collided Friday morning, causing a fuel spill, according to the Maryland Department of Transportation.

The crash took place near mile marker 31, between the U.S. 40 (Dual Highway) and Md. 65 (Sharpsburg Pike) exits.

Both westbound lanes were closed for a brief period after the crash. One westbound lane had reopened by 8:05 a.m.
