Eileen Anna Twentey, 85 of 11317 Manse Road, Hagerstown, Md., died Sunday, April 4, 2010, at Homewood at Williamsport, Md.

Born Nov. 13, 1924, in Bakerton, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Clemma Mae Weaver Grim.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold A. Twentey, Dec. 12, 1999.

She was a singer, often with her sister Audrey and had a great love of music.

She is survived by four daughters, Sylvia "Sib" Corderman and husband, Nelson, of Greencastle, Pa., Sandra K. Daymude and husband, Ike, of Hagerstown, Sharon E. Clark and husband, Rick, of Inwood, W.Va., and Debra A. Snoots and husband, Rodney, of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Audrey L. Starliper of York, Pa. and Connie M. Powell of Woodsboro, Md.; one brother, Warren N. Grim of Brookhaven, Miss.; seven grandchildren, Wendy Moore and husband, Jay, Steve Corderman, Rhonda Souders-Horning and husband, Paul, Mike Daymude and wife, Mandy, Richie Clark, Jr and wife, Jodi, Amanda Kivitkovskyi and husband, Jason and Dustin Snoots and fiance, Mia; great-grandchildren, Connor and Randy, McKinsey and Brian, Makenna and Tanner, Courtney and Matt, and Brendan.


She was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Leonard, and brothers, Willard Grim, John Grim and James Grim.

Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Revs. Clark D. Carr and Ralph W. Adams will officiate. Burial will be in Samples Manor Cemetery, in Sharpsburg, Md.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends may call beginning at noon on Tuesday.
