READING, Pa. -- Governor Mifflin scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh to stun the Trojans in their opener.
Facing reliever Tyler McDonald, a two-base error with one out got Gov. Mifflin started. After a walk, Kyle Summers' RBI double cut Chambersburg's lead to 2-1. Another walk loaded the bases, and Brandon Snyder hit a walk-off, two-run double.
Junior Andrew Reed hit a solo home run in the second inning in his first at-bat in two years for the Trojans. Reed missed his sophomore season with a concussion. Greg Hammond added an RBI groundout to score McDonald in the third.

WARFORDSBURG, Pa. -- Southern Fulton got off to a 6-0 start after two innings on the way to defeating Tussey Mountain in a Sideling Hill League game.
Derek Yonker set the tone in the first inning with a three-run home run, one of his two hits.
Tyler Trail picked up the win in relief for the Indians (2-0).

Musselman wins two in mixer
INWOOD, W.Va. -- Musselman picked up two wins as host of its own mixer, defeating Salisbury 12-2 and Northern Garrett 7-1.
Josh Gadd tossed a six-inning complete game for the Applemen against Salisbury, scattering eight hits. Shea LaRose had a pair of hits with two RBIs and Evan Woolum drove in two runs.
Musselman broke a 1-1 tie after four innings with three runs in the fifth and sixth innings against Northern Garrett. Brad Shade went 4 1/3 innings to pick up the win. Andy Mocahbee had three hits and two RBIs, and Alan Mocahbee and Woolum each had two hits.

INSTITUTE, W.Va. -- Shepherd University reached the 20-win mark with a doubleheader sweep of West Virginia State in the West Virginia Conference.
The Rams (21-7, 7-3) used a three-run third inning in Game 1 to gain the victory. Courtni Williams walked and Bianca Biondillo followed with a two-run home run. Nichole Pitcock added a solo blast.
Pitcock scattered four hits to pick up the complete-game win, striking out five.
