Two charged with possession with intent to deliver

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- Police in Martinsburg seized about 40 grams of crack cocaine Wednesday after responding to a report of suspicious activity in the 400 block of East Race Street, according to Berkeley County Magistrate Court records.

Bernard Jennings, 30, of 2859 Winchester Ave., was arraigned Thursday by Magistrate Joan V. Bragg on two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, according to court records.

Otto J. Jennings, 20, of Troy, N.Y., was arraigned by Bragg on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

The suspicious activity was reported at about 6:15 p.m., in the vicinity of an old neighborhood business known as "The Jumps Store," according to complaints filed in magistrate court by Martinsburg Police Cpl. J.E. Darby and Patrolman B.L. Rouse.

Bernard Jennings was found in possession of nine pieces of crack cocaine that weighed 27.5 grams, a small amount of marijuana and an unspecified amount of cash, according to court records.

Otto Jennings was found with four pieces of crack cocaine that weighed 13.5 grams, according to court records.
