McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Fulton County Medical Center recently installed EMRdoc, an electronic documentation information system from EPOWERdoc, for the hospital's emergency department.

The EMRdoc system is a clinical software solution that produces comprehensive and integrated clinical records electronically, while providing management tools for control of operations.

The main components of the EMRdoc System are a patient tracking/real-time emergency department patient management system, physician and nursing electronic documentation systems, CPOE (Computer Provider Order Entry), discharge instructions and prescription writing, and a comprehensive data reporting system.

The system replaces a paper documentation system in the department.
