Ranson man killed at Frederick tractor business

FREDERICK, Md. -- A Ranson, W.Va., man was killed Monday afternoon at Gladhill Tractor on Mt. Zion Road in Frederick when a large piece of equipment on which he was working fell on him, according to a Maryland State Police news release.

Thomas L. Creamer, 46, was killed when a John Deere 332 Skid Steer fell on him, according to the release.

The death is being investigated as a work-related accident and no signs of foul play were observed at the scene, the release said.

Creamer was transported to a medical examiner's office in Baltimore for an autopsy and an investigation is continuing, the release said.

Trooper 1st Class M.A. Speak of the Frederick County Bureau of Investigation and a safety compliance officer from Maryland Occupational Safety and Health responded to the accident, which was reported at about 1:08 p.m., police said.
