Snow angels

December 28, 2009

"I would like to just thank my snow angels, Betty and Junebug, for shoveling my pavement off and digging my car out. I am 68 years old, and my fiancé broke his foot in three places, and they ... come over and shoveled about every hour and dug my car out so I could get him back and forth to the doctors. It is so nice to have good neighbors like them." -- Hagerstown

"I would like to thank my daughter Tina for shoveling my walk on George Street and my porch on a very freezing day." -- Hagerstown

"I would like to thank two very special snow angels, Bill Smith and Donnie ..., who both live on the Sharpsburg Pike. The evening of Dec. 22, these two guys loaded up their snowblowers and headed to Sharpsburg. They snowblowed the whole Sharpsburg cemetery open, so that many, many people could get to their loved ones' graves for the Christmas holidays. God bless you both." -- Fairplay
